Bidrage med feedbackWe popped in just for a cake at lunchtime as we where still full after our big breakfast at The Sandpipper B&B . Very clean friendly and great scones. Only downfall is the Toilet is up stairs so we had to help our mum up.
Filthy kitchen Id gone the wrong way to the toilet which was disgusting) staff all kids) freaked out when I ended up at the kitchen door. My meal off eggs Benedict, urgh more like hard boiled eggs on a tiny muffin, demanded my money back left. NEVER AGAIN!! I'd give it no stars if possible.
If your happy to pay £9 for food from Iceland, cooked badly, then this restaurant won't disappoint. Beer battered cod sounded great, but the flat, overcooked fish dished up was clearly recently shuffled out of a box from Iceland. The mash was from an instant packet mix, the Cumberland sausage was a poor relation to a Cumberland sausage and all the meals arrived cold. Bargain? Not exactly. We should have stayed out in the rain and spent our money anywhere else. Bermo Kitchen? No kitchen required just a microwave and a deep fat fryer in the hands of fools.
Ordered x2 fish and chips meal for 2, when the food arrived it was half cooked and witnessed watching the restaurant staff shopping in Iceland. Oh and don't leave your food on the table alone or else the waitresses will dispose of it in their mouths, god forbid never had horror of eating food like this in my life. Very traumatic experience for me
Three of us dined here on a Saturday lunchtime, drawn in by the good range of choices on the menu. We had two x full English breakfasts, generous, well cooked and presented, Highlight was the Eggs Royale, toasted muffins with plenty of smoked salmon and perfectly poached eggs, and a jug of warm hollandaise sauce. Yes the place is a bit rough around the edges, and the loos are upstairs if mobility is an issue. However, this is more than offset by the good value tasty food.
