Seawind Landing - Guysborough

We had a fabulous visit and dinner. House made food and wonderful service. You will be glad you came. On a point of land with fabulous views and great hosts.

This is a charming, small inn and certainly unique visually because of the views from every window. The inn comprises of two houses on a point of land that extends into Charlos Bay. Mown walks around the property offer the pleasant fragrances of the sea, freshly cut grass and local flora. The owners, one the chef, are most welcoming and helpful. Dinners were delicious. Highly recommended.

Beautiful places. Room was lovely overlooking the water. A lovely pathway runs along the water around the property makes for a very pleasant walk. The hosts were lovely. I sent an email prior to arriving asking about reservations for dinner and breakfast and they responded quickly and were very accommodating as I have a food allergy. Food in the restaurant was delicious.

We visited Seawind Landing during a perfect time of year when the owners were relaxed after a busy summer/fall season. They shared lots of stories and history about the area, which was a nice touch. The food was indeed first-class, particularly the sole which I still think about. I am writing this review to recommend this special place to everyone, as we have since sent friends to dine there as well.

The overall experience at this restaurant was fantastic! The owners and staff were excellent and the establishment felt very safe during the pandemic. I would highly recommend this place.
