Bidrage med feedbackVery nice food...must visit and highly recommended. hidden gem of guwahati an authentic assamesian kitchen with sorts. the combination of veg and non veg are good. somewhat expensive. but taste is great.
One of the best authentic North East dishes available here. Their pork with bamboo shoot thali is the USP. Tupula bhat goes well with it. Along with that various traditional thalis and chutneys are available too. Place is far from hustle and bustle of the traffic and is clean. A mini bar is available too.
Loved the chicken and the pork king Thali. There were many varieties of the meat. The chicken made in rice powder, chicken ethnic salad and chicken in banana leaf were all awesome. The pork also had great taste, like the pork in herbs and pork fry. Highly recommended, as this is something one can't find outside of Assam yet.
It's one of of the best restaurants I've ever tried! We had the Singpho Pork thali and every dish was delicious. The food is very reasonably priced, specially considering the quality it provides. The service was efficient and the staff as well. The atmosphere is nice too, however it's a bit small. Booze is also served, which, again, is pretty cheap. Definitely a must try for pork lovers.
I don't remember the specifics, but I do remember I was absolutely in love with the Singpho King-size Pork Thali I took here. Many many varieties of pork, and luckily they have a low fat option, so I was able to get a lot of the meat. The Singpho are one of the smaller tribes in the region, and it was fabulous to see a restaurant in Guwahati catering only to this tribe's cuisine. The pork salad was just brilliant, as was the boil pork with bamboo shoot and regional herbs.
