A very special, a kind of place, just amazing. It is the perfect place on the river to see the world past, and homemade food is also great. BBQ-Riegelsandwich, Potatoes, Kalico-Veggies and Cheese-Curds were all great. Vintage maritime decor, relaxed atmosphere, friendly staff. Mike the owner engaged everyone, asked how the food was and whether they needed anything. An honest and friendly, hearty person, he really made the experience perfect. Only open May October. Close for the season soon I heard so you get there while you can.

Great food with an original ambience. Beautiful views of the river while you eat. The menu is limited but never disappointed!! It's one of our favorite places.
Very nice honest man owns this place..After dropping off grandkids and working at my shop all day we took a drive to see a new site Twisted Alley will be opening soon in Guttenberg and just had to try the Fish Shack. Your not going to get a dinner like this anywhere else. YUMMY!!! We'll be back.
