Dunkin' - Guttenberg

Just your average Dunkies. Staff has rotated a lot since I've known this place, so can't be entirely sure what kind of interaction you'll encounter in any given week. I don't come here to often, but it's not a bad place to pop in for a quickcoffee and bite. The times I've been here have been mostly out of convenience and their location and?for the most part?servicehas been fast and courteous.

There was literally not a single time that this place got my order correctly. Last time, I ordered hot matcha tea, specifically stated no sugar and received a cup full of sweet. I mentioned that and was told that matcha has already a sweetenerin it. They refused to make another drink. You would think when people ask for no sugar it would be a prudent idea to mentionthat the drink comes with sugar, well apparently not to the people that work there.

I also noticed a comment that people of color are treated differently here, and I can confirm that's absolutely true. The manager is always miserable and seems to take her frustration out on everyone, including her staff. It creates an uncomfortable atmosphere every time I stop by for a coffee, and to make matters worse, my drink is never made correctly and often tastes off. I've never had these issues at any other Dunkin' Donuts locations. I genuinely believe the problem stems from the manager and her approach to training and interacting with employees. This place is frankly a joke; it doesn't operate like any other Dunkin', and the drinks are consistently wrong. It's utterly ridiculous, rude, and mean without any reason. She really needs professional help.

I've been a customer for a few months now, and I typically order iced coffee with cream and sugar. Unfortunately, the preparation is consistently inconsistent. Sometimes my drink is mostly cream with very little coffee and hardly any sugar; other times, it’s mostly coffee with no cream or sugar at all. It’s rare that it’s made correctly. Additionally, my boyfriend found a cockroach leg in his bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich. The Dunkin' Donuts on 80th Street has a much friendlier staff and prepares my coffee accurately.

Nipa, you and your team are fantastic! You are a wonderful asset to Dunkin'. I had an incredible experience.
