Sri Udaya Shankar Restaurant - Guntur

I recently went to this restaurant for breakfast and lunch with my friends and we really enjoyed the food. We tried a variety of vegetarian dishes and everything was delicious and reasonably priced. The service was quick and the food was flavorful. Overall, a great spot for vegetarians.

This restaurant serves the most delicious vegetarian thali you will ever taste. Additionally, they offer excellent authentic desserts. The Basundi and Ravva Kesari are simply irresistible <3

The restaurant, with a long history, has a sister restaurant called Sri Sankar Vilas which was established in 1966. When I visited Guntur as a child, it was already there. In the 1970s, Uday Sankar was opened as an air-conditioned restaurant on the upper floor. Both restaurants were later relocated to a nearby building. There is no parking available, but two-wheelers can be parked on the road. It seems like there may have been a change in management as the service standards have declined. They offer vegetarian dishes for breakfast and lunch, with Uday Sankar also serving North Indian dishes. Unfortunately, the washroom taps were not working, but a container of water was provided. The waiter seemed rushed and did not take the complete order. Additionally, the server did not have a basic understanding of Telugu. Despite these issues, the food was tasty and reasonably priced. They also accept card payments.

I visited with my family at 8pm, when I ordered for tiffinstgat person said not available.Anything that I was asking him he was replying recklessly.i did not like his attitude.Service was late,the staff is horrible.the person I was coordinating with dint know telugu.it was still fine.he was able to serve only 3 items while we wanted to order few more.while I was returning I saw Tiffin items being served on the next table,I got really pissed because when I asked for it ,that idiot said Tiffins not available. Plz do not visit this place n waste ur money.food is also worst.staff is pathetic though I yelled at one person,he apologized for the pathetic service and that other North Indian idiot din bother
