Social - Gunter Grove, Beldon

Had a really lovely breakfast at Social on Saturday morning. The place was very busy and is popular with the cycling crowd. It was a gorgeous morning so we sat outside under one of the umbrellas. You order and pay at the counter and the food is delivered to your table. Our meals arrived before our coffee but someone did come and apologise for that as they were slammed with coffee orders. I had the Bacon Benedict which was really nice. The poached eggs were cooked perfectly. The Hollandaise was also very nice and there was heaps of it. Others at our table also enjoyed their breakfast of Fritters. The coffee was very nice. It’s a great spot being protected from the winds. The staff were friendly even if a bit run off their feet. Heaps of parking at Hillarys Marina.

Pretty place. Nice scenery. Food is not too bad. Pleasant service staff.

Good location. Big menu, with good options. Chili mussels were delicious, but was a smaller portion for a slightly bigger price than at different restaurants and only came with one slice of garlic bread. The four cheese gnocchi is so so good. Would definitely recommend it. Staff okay.
