Bidrage med feedbackAbsolutely incredible! The quality of food is astounding for a small restaurant located in a gas station. Blake is fantastic; he took our order and prepared our delicious meals. This isn't my first visit, and it certainly won't be my last. I love this place and all the staff. Keep up the amazing work! I'll definitely be back next time I'm in town.
My friend and I visited Gunnison and Crested Butte for Christmas and ended up dining at Powerstop three times over two days. It was the only restaurant open on Christmas, and the burgers were absolutely fantastic. The bungalows themselves were the best burger bungalows I've ever had. On our first visit, I ordered the Spicy Hawaiian while Jeff chose the Sanchez; both were incredible. During our second visit to Powerstop, I tried the Fiesta Ranch and Jeff went for the Thrift Shop Burger. On our third trip, we both opted for the breakfast burrito—mine with chorizo and Jeff's with bacon. My favorite was definitely the Fiesta Ranch Burger. I'm a huge ranch fan, and the addition of guacamole made it a winner! Jeff's favorite was the Sanchez.
You know that you are in a good place when all customers and workers know each other. And even better if they treat you like an old friend. In addition, this is one of the best burgers I've ever had. I got the TAD Burger and it was great! HUGE patty, fresh ingredients and sauce fall from the sides and a freshly baked bread. I can't wait to come back to Gunnison just to eat here.
There are so many options! The food was delicious! I had the spicy Hawaiian burger, and it was excellent. Really, it was very good. The service was also super friendly! My only complaints are that I wish I didn’t have to cook burgers so often. They all claim to be cooked to medium, but they actually come well done. I ordered mine rare, and it arrived medium. The others were also overcooked. It would be great if the ketchup was better! While all the ingredients for the burgers and fries are obviously fresh and of high quality, the ketchup falls a bit short. I think next time I’ll just bring my own Heinz!
What a surprise! I was looking for a quick breakfast diner stop and when we pulled up, I thought it was a gas station only. Don’t be fooled! There is a cafe in there with seating inside and at the little patio outside. While it was busy and the service a little slow, they definitely have the kitchen figured out. We ordered the Gut Buster (in photo) and the breakfast burrito. I was expecting a mediocre showing, seeing as the place looked like a pit stop, but the food was really fresh and tasted great! Would stop back for a quick breakfast on the go.
