Bidrage med feedbackIf so many places try to replace something other than brisket and call it brisket, this joint not. beautiful fat marble, it falls in the mouth tender with good taste. it only gets a ding because the smoke ring was small of a short duration smoke. the fried okra was excellent, but the collard greens were so sweet that they were left uneaten. the huge plate in the image is from the left. when they come, they try the brisket
Visited on a Saturday evening , place was busy, but not swamped . Greeted and seated promptly. Server got drinks out quickly . Food ordered- one order burnt ends, one pulled pork sandwich. Both of us agreed food was good but not spectacular. Good service reasonable price okay food. We would give it another try to see if it was better when not so busy.
Shrimp poboy and sweet potato fries were delicious. Brisket was beefy and tender with a nice bite. Ribs were off the chain. They had a nice crust and were not dried out. Potato salad and baked beans were perfect. Overall we enjoyed it and will be back for more.
Have been going here since they opened. Excellent BBQ. Some of the best you'll find on the coast. I love several of their dishes but my personal favorite is their garlic parm wings
So in love with this place! Service was absolutely wonderful and the food was amazing. We had the fried pickles, fried okra, burnt ends, baked beans, potato salad, blueberry lemon drop, brisket loaded waffle fries, pulled pork, sausage, brisket, and mac cheese. Portions were so large we probably can eat leftovers for the next week!
