Habana Cafe - Gulfport

Placed an order for the exit and the service was good and the server that picked up the phone was nice. I ordered camaronen ajillo and the rice, drilling and brot was good, but I thought the garnel and sauce that it came could have been more tasteful as the camarones borracho.

Habana has been my favorite local Cuban gem for YEARS. I grew up coming here with my parents, and as an adult find myself frequenting often for lunch. They added a really beautiful , well covered outdoor area that we adore. The sangria is delicious, get the carafe size, it?s only $4 more than a glass and easily gets us 4 plus glasses. The drunken shrimp is to die for. It?s served with Cuban bread and made with mojo sauce, garlic, white wine and onion.You will 100% find yourself wishing there was more. For meal I usually get the Piccadillo but the Spanish salad (so good) and drunken shrimp are filling enough . Service is always excellent and the staff is very friendly. Highly recommend !

I ordered the palamillo steak sandwich, which to be fair has a description stating: palamillo steak topped with grilled onions and string potatoes on Cuban bread. And guess what?! You?ll get nothing outside of that description and very little of what?s described! Not only did they barely put any onions or string potatoes (from the can! it was dry and flavorless. If y?all need a cook, I?ll do it! Cause one thing?s for sure this B can cook! And believe me, this was absolutely tasteless dry no bueno! They did take 30% off, thank you for that! I had to wrap it up and bring it home to make it worth the I spent! So disappointed ?

Great menu and very generous portions. The fresh baked hot bread right out of the oven was amazing and our server Jason was excellent.

Cute, covered outdoor seating area and great food. Ordered the Cuban sandwich first time having a Cuban and loved it. Would definitely order again. Coffee is great, too!
