Bidrage med feedbackI have stopped by several times to see the continued progress of this new store, and will be visiting again today. This new business replaced the Happy Harbor store that closed over two years ago. It's on County Road 6 just north of the Co Rd 4 intersection. It's at the same physical location as a planned marina and planned restaurant. Oyster Bay Market is on the upper level and the neighborhood's only convenience store. While they were still in the process of ramping up with some empty spaces inside in my first visit they told me that as of next week, 7/12/21, they will be open full-time and stocked with wine, beer, tobacco, drink, snacks and snacks and more. They've got ice, groceries, bbq supplies and even some beach supplies and it will be interesting to see just how much stuff they'll be making available as they grow. Bottom line: The nearest convenience store is 5 miles away and this location will serve all of Plash Island and a lot of residences on the intercoastal waterway, the bays and the Bon Secour river, a welcomed community addition.
We waited over an hour for our food, and after finally receiving it, it took another hour to get the check. The waitresses seemed intoxicated, and we even found hair in our meals. Overall, we were very disappointed and will not be returning after spending 2.5 hours here for unsatisfactory food.
I waited for two hours and would not recommend this place. Another group ahead of us appeared to have waited even longer. The waiter seemed to be under the influence and left the building multiple times.
I'm really glad to see this store open! The pizza is fantastic, and it's convenient to be able to pick up milk, bread, and other essentials without having to get on the highway.
Good service, the pizza was good!
