Coast - Gulf Shores

If it were possible to give negative stars, I definitely would. This was meant to be our last night of vacation, and we traveled 25 minutes hoping for a wonderful evening. Unfortunately, we were mistaken! While the waitress was great, our drinks were made incorrectly, and the steak was difficult to cut, even with a steak knife. The ketchup had an unpleasant color and seemed old. Additionally, a salad was served to a customer with a dairy allergy that contained cheese at the bottom, and shrimp was served in butter despite clearly stating the allergy. To top it off, our bill was incorrect, and we felt rushed as they carried the trash by us while we were finishing our meal, treating us like we were closing time. I could elaborate even more, but we’re heading elsewhere to wrap up our trip!

Excellent service with a smile, food was excellent. The view and surrounding Gulf View from the patio amazing.

Our last hope was to try take-out. When we called to place an order, we were asked, “How big?” This summed up our experience with poorly trained and managed hostesses and waitstaff. Now, regarding the food... we paid $36 for a dozen oysters that tasted more like clams. The Brussels sprouts were soggy and overly wet, though they had good flavor. The only decent item we ordered was the crab bisque, which was actually pretty good, so I have no complaints about that. Overall, the outrageous prices combined with the poor quality of food and unwelcoming staff left a disappointing impression of the beach club. Do yourself a favor and make the 20-minute drive to the city, where you’ll enjoy much better service; we certainly did.

This was considered a $41.00 plate. This is unacceptable for even $10.00?. We have visited this restaurant the past two years. This is the worst presentation of food in any restaurant I have ever visited. The manager and waitress felt it was acceptable. I am not one to complain , but for this to be acceptable?. Don?t waste your money?

We celebrated our 21st anniversary at this restaurant, and it was a wonderful experience. The food, service, and atmosphere were the best we've encountered in Baldwin County. Our waitress, Carla, was fantastic, and I hope she is there when we visit again.
