The Lakeside Cafe - Guildford

It was Wednesday, and we had a great experience at the café. I ordered the Eggs Benedict, and my wife chose the avocado breakfast. Both meals were delicious. The coffee was good, and the juice was refreshing. The ambiance was lovely as well. Overall, it's a charming little café and a fantastic spot for breakfast if you find yourself in the area. I would rate it a 9/10; the service was quick and friendly. I thanked the owner on my way out for the lovely breakfast. I highly recommend stopping by if you have the chance!

I had some delicious BLTs; clearly, someone knows how to cook! However, I must mention that the menu is somewhat limited. I really enjoyed sitting in the covered courtyard. The coffee and service were also fantastic.

From January 2021: The Garden Café on Guildford is a charming little café located on Guildford Road, with additional outdoor seating available at the back. The service is friendly and prompt. I enjoyed a coffee with lactose-free milk and a brownie, both of which were excellent. They also provide plenty of reading material and take health precautions seriously in light of the COVID-19 pandemic. I highly recommend checking it out. There’s parking available on the side streets or in the rear parking lot. The BLT, with or without chips, is also fantastic and delicious!

Beautiful small cafeteria. had a large breakfast. parking on the side of the road. appropriate number of seats in the indoor and outdoor areas. friendly service. go back. ps them local fresh coffee beans.

Most excellent breakfast! Have had coffee from yhe windows a few times before, which has always been good, but decided to have breakfast with friends today. Superb. Eggs beni with salmon would have to be one of the best I've tasted. We ate inside, because of the weather, but will Come back and eat in the garden area next time.
