Maloncho Tandoori - Guildford

Always great food and service at Maloncho. This is our go to curry house after work with colleagues been coming here for years and have recommended to others. Will be back!

I have visited this restaurant numerous times in the 8 years I have lived in Guildford, and I always love the service there. The staff is always attentive and I appreciate their hospitality. Thank you again.

We decided to grab a bite to eat before heading to GLive to see Fascinating Aida. We were greeted warmly and felt very welcomed. Both of us enjoyed our meals, with me opting for the lamb tikka dansac. We definitely plan to return when we can. Our waiter was entertaining and made our dining experience even more enjoyable.

Good service and the food was delicious. Servers were very attentive and the food arrived quickly. Would recommend to others.

Most probably the worst curry I have ever eaten. My vegetable jalfrezi was bland and sloppy with bits of over cooked broccoli…tasted more like a stew. The tarka dal was also bland and watery, absolutely no taste whatsoever. The lamb rogan josh was inedible, again no taste and the lamb was tough and gristly as you will see from the picture. If I had been eating in the restaurant the whole lot would have been sent back, sadly it was takeout so that wasn’t an option. I was staying with relatives for one night and had to leave Guildford first thing the next morning… if I had been there the following day I would have gone back to the restaurant to complain in person. I’m not sure how this place has such good reviews, it was truly dreadful.
