Ladybird's Cottage Cafe - Guildford

A friend wanted to celebrate her birthday lunch at this restaurant. I tried to call the number listed on their website but kept receiving a message saying "please check the number & try again." After contacting Telstra and receiving the same number, I decided to drive there in person to make a reservation since the phone was not working. To my surprise, when I arrived at the address listed on their website, there was no Ladybird Cottage to be found. Nobody I asked knew of its existence, even though the website claimed it was open. I am thankful I took the time to verify and prevent my friend's disappointment. It seems like the business may no longer exist, and they should consider taking down their website. It's unclear if they have moved or if the website is outdated.

We had a very enjoyable afternoon at our high tea here. The service was just okay (to their credit they did appear to be short staffed) and our table was quite small and a bit squished as we had three people seated at a table for two, but this did not put us off. All of the food was very nice although I did find a hair on top of one of my cupcakes... (Just left that one off to the side). This high tea was very well priced, provided more than enough food and unlimited tea. It is located in a very cute tea room on the main street.

I had a great time at Lady Bird Cottages. The entrance to the charming cottage leads to a lovely indoor/outdoor space.
