Restaurante O Teodósio - Guia

I stayed in the Algarve for 7 nights and visited this place 3 times it's so good. The 1/2 chicken probably isn't enough if you're hungry but get the pork steaks too and you won't be disappointed. However for me the highlight is the tomato salad, now I don't even really like tomatoes but they managed to get some incredible flavour into them with oregano and olive oil. Just amazing. Must visit if you're staying in Guia or surrounding areas.

My family and friends had dinner here. We heard it was very good, but it did not live up to expectations, perhaps you had to be Portuguese to get good service? We found the food to be good but certainly nothing special. The waiting staff seemed highly trained in NOT smiling and looking fed up. Overall, very average experience.

Its near Algarveshopping, 5min by car, has private parking. It's always crowded during summer but has two enourmous rooms to accommodate guests. It feels a bit like a cantina due to its size. As expected we were quickly met and order was placed. This time...More

We came on Sunday 25 June and it was very busy. People were waiting at the bar.When we got seated our food arrived. It was odd. There was little or no chicken. It was like we had a plate of bones. It didn't taste right. The following day my 89 yr old father was very ill. My brother was also ill. This meant my father had to go to the doctor. His 2nd week of the holiday was ruined and he was very vulnerable on the flight home. I'm not sure that we will visit here again.
