I'm sorry but a burger is not just a burger and at The Works that it so true. Fantastic food, great staff and always clean. Many more visits to come!

Came with the kids. Everyone ordered something unique from their burger menu. Everyone loved the meal- and also raved about the fries too. A few of us had the lunch size burgers( offered as a special even on weekends). Totally with the visit.

The works is a nice,small restaurant specializing in burgers. The menu is simply to read.And the staff is more then willing to help you design the perfect buger. Will deffentilly be back.

A friend took us here for dinner when we were in town for a visit. Wow - downtown has changed quite a bit since my time there! Anyhow, I got a real kick out of the menu and descriptions - it's worth a visit just to browse that! You can choose from 8 types of main 'between the bun' foundations like stuffed ground beef, elk, or portobello cap. And there are a million choices to make after that. We started by sharing the wrecking balls (yum) and 'regular' poutine. Ok, I wish they would have said the poutine came in a giant bucket - we could have just shared a burger between the 3 of us after that! A peanut butter and chocolate shake was delicious (arrived in a 2 cup measuring cup) and then our various burgers came. I had a turkey burger with no bun and Brie, bacon and something else as a topper and I chose broccoli as my side. I only had about 1/3 since I was already so full! My friend had the mushroom cap and hubby had the regular ground beef. His only 'beef' was that they won't cook to taste - minimum of 160F so no rare or medium-rare.Fun atmosphere, plenty of food, patient servers while you make your decisions... check it out!

A tower of onion rings and more ways to top a burger than I ever thought possible! Cool decor and elements. And the burgers are awesome!
