Pasta and Pizza Del Nonno - Guelph

This is as close to an authentic Italian pizza as you can get. Nona and Nono are very nice people and you can see that they love cooking. Their passion is translated into food and the pizza here is very good. My favorite is Quattro stagioni pizza and one time Nono told me about the recipe and the difference between the Northern Italy, Quattro stagioni and the Sicily one. Enjoyed the food, enjoyed the people and talking to them. I really recommend to try their pizza. You will be hooked.

This place is just a few blocks south of my house in Guelph and NONNO welcomed me as soon as I walked through the door. Nothing fancy but just DARN GOOD PASTA. So far I have had the lasagna, penne and spaghetti and all 3 have been fantastic. You can tell the sauce is homemade too !! The pizza looks good to but I NEED MY NOODLES !It reminds me of a place I used to go to in Calgary. Way to go NONNO !!

I've heard about their delicious pizza for a while, and finally decided to stop in for a slice. The mushroom and prosciutto slice was absolutely amazing! Lots of mushrooms and prosciutto on a thin crust. Best part is the fact that it's cheaper than a slice from Pizza Pizza, yet tastes way better!

If Jim Davis knew this place he will probably add a Garfield scene calling Nono to order a large lasagna! That's what we do now for family events, we pre order and Nono has it ready at the perfect time before eating (has to be that way, no microwave plz). Not only is good but saves us a lot of work in the kitchen.

This This hands down the most authentic and tasty Italian pizza place in the area. Run by a friendly Italian couple, great for ordering pizza or takeout for lunch. If you like real thin crust pizza with quality ingredients ( fresh basil, walnut, gorgonzola proscuittio, artichoke, the list goes on and on. Also I would completely disregard the review by drvacati0n,they didn't even try the sandwich so how can the review be of merit. Sad how some people would slander such and amazing family business. I've actually eaten the veal sandwich many times and it's fantastic and never greasy. Highly recommended order early they are not open late.
