This restaurant is a hidden gem that is definitely worth seeking out. The food was delicious, the service was very friendly, and the prices were reasonable. There were many options on the menu to choose from. The pho, green curry, and Chaobistro salad were all delicious. We will definitely be returning.

This restaurant is a hidden gem that offers authentic Vietnamese cuisine without any pretentiousness. I have tried their banh mi and other Vietnamese dishes and have never been disappointed. I frequent this place often, sometimes just for their freshly pressed sugar cane juice (tip: try adding pineapple)! I was thrilled to see that they had bo ne (sizzling plate) on the menu. Bo ne is a Vietnamese sizzling steak and eggs breakfast plate, similar to steak and eggs but with a Vietnamese twist. It consists of steak with butter, pate, Vietnamese sausage, and iron on a sizzling plate in soy sauce, served with a baguette. This dish is not commonly found on restaurant menus, so I had to try it here.

My family stumbled upon this gem after being snowed in Kitchener. The pho was delicious and the portion size was very generous. We even bought some extra for my parents to try. Our only regret is that we live too far from Chao Bistro, otherwise it would be our go-to spot for Vietnamese food. The food was amazing and the service was great! We will definitely be returning!

Delicious and fresh Vietnamese food at a reasonable price point! We had great pho, bun bo hue, banh mi, spring rolls and tasty sugar cane juice. The owner is lovely and this is definitely our new favourite spot!
