Shakes 4*Food 3*Wanted to try out this place. The food is not bad for a bunch of things thrown together. Not worth the HIGH prices, though.Stick to only ordering shakes from here. Hot dogs and fries were a disappointment.
The good was delicious, I highly suggest the garlic fries and the pastrami dog. There “agua frescas” we’re on the pricey side though. I know it’s weird to say but I didn’t try a shake, they looked like a lot and no one wanted to share, lol.
I ordered a shake cookies and cream and it came with Pieces of banana in it it was disgusting 7$ dollars for a shake to go in the trash they need to take the time and clean the mixer or something
After spending a day at Ontario Mills, my group wanted to grab something to go with our food court lunch. We ended up ordering a Mango Tango, the orange Aguas Frescas, and the Mexican Fries. Side note: The shakes here look absolutely insane. However no one wanted to risk their blood sugar levels (haha) , so we loved vicariously through strangers as we watch them enjoy instead. Anyways, going on to the food items we ordered. We really appreciated the fact that they used real mangos to make our smoothies as usually many locations these days use the powder or some other premade stuff. This is the real deal and they top it off generously. Because they used real fruits, you can taste the authenticity of the smoothie. We ordered a regular size which is about $6, honestly better compared to Jamba Juice. The Orange Aguas Frescas was okay. It's around $5 and tasted like any other Aguas Frescas including the cheap powder ones you can get at the stores it was refreshing regardless. The Mexican fries $7 were essentially thinly sliced fries with corn and a chipotle sauce. The prices are comparable to any other food court, pricy with small portions, however the real issue with this place is the organization and structure of management. The way the order line and pick up line is set up is extremely inconvenient and awkward for everyone, including the Nike Store right behind it. This place is understaffed and there is only 1 male cashier and 1 lady in the back doing everything. Because of this the service is really slow. And the line extends right around the front entrance of the Nike Store. Because of this, many people think there is a line for Nike when in fact it's for this place. In addition, this line cuts off the entire path from one side to the other forcing people to walk around the entire food court to get to the other side or squeezing to get past the ever growing line. We waited around 40 minutes for our fries and drinks. The male cashier did not understand English at all so we were pretty much pointing at pictures to communicate. Even with pointing there was a lot of miscommunication and frustration on both sides including the long line that was starting to form in the back. The lady ended up taking over to help him use the computer. Then when it came to pay, we wanted to pay with a simple credit card, he didn't know how to authorize the payment. Either this is is first day or he really has no idea what he is doing. Once again, the lady in the back has to take over which increases the waiting time for people waiting for their meal drinks and waiting time for the people in line. Another thing that was concerning was for health reasons. Yes I realize we are in San Bernardino and they don't have mask mandates here for those who are vaccinated but the cashier and lady were not wearing masks or gloves. Yet they were handling money, fries, drinks, straws. Everything seemed very unsanitary. Overall, the drinks and foods were actually very tasty and photogenic. However the lack of structure makes the customer experience very disappointing and frustrating.
