El Viejo Balcon - Guarne

The view from the balcony at night out into the plaza full of lights is beautiful! There are only 3 tables on the balcony, but inside has very well presented classy Christmas decorations too. The milk juices are great, empanadas huge with especially the Hawaiian one being delicious, more than the chicken and mushroom. The mix of meats is a good size with nice glazes, but they were all a bit well done for me. Chips with chorizo was well worth it and I really enjoyed the hamburger made with steak. The chicken and mushroom sandwich had a huge amount of cheese and creamy flavour, but still had the occasional bone and grizzle in the chicken. The service was friendly, attentive and not crowding and the payment by Bancolombia QR code is very convenient. The prices are very affordable (especially for alcohol) and I’m sure we will be back again!

The ceviche and shrimp arepa had the same sauce. Food was horrible.

The place caught my attention, it looks nice, but when I sat down the table was wobbly, I tried several and they were all flimsy, everything falls down, the service is precarious, the waitresses have a depressing attitude and serve with reluctance, the food was delayed, tasteless and served as if Your mother-in-law who hates you would serve you, the soups are served almost cold, the meat is poorly cooked, I live in Guarne and it is simply the worst restaurant I have ever been to...nothing justifies the high prices, nor the attention, much less the food, FATAL!!!

Good service and meal. Be very careful when ordering, for example a coffee (red) where in other places they give it away, here it costs 3 thousand. So be careful when asking the price, and during the week it is cheaper (14 thousand a plate) than on the weekend (19 thousand). It is something complex for me to understand, it should be the same. Everything is delicious, they have a good seasoning.
