Our first time to try Portugal's famous custard-cream tart, the pastéis de nata, was in Guarda. While my sister and I were visiting the cathedral, our friends whiled away the time at the Pastelaria Orquidea and they took out a tart for us. Hmhm...delicious! We would be trying the tarts a few more times during our weeklong journey in Portugal but this was one of the better ones. I give it a B+ rating.
