Restaurante Mandragora - Guanajuato

What are they looking for when they are looking for a restaurant? I don't care if it's the location, not especially the location but. above all, I care for taste! and the pleasure began with the drinks. they offered me a handcrafted beer from which they were. three different kinds of camps: I chose the red, just to discover that it had won a bronze medal at a competition in Mexico City! really pleasant. then the food we tried was really delicious and tasteful. just a bit of Zilantro sprinkling (local coriander) above....the touch of the cook! and finally. that is not a tourist place. that is a big plus for us. highly recommended!

This restaurant no longer exists. when it operated, it had goat food, a beautiful environment and probably the best chocolate in guanajuato. but again it is out of operation! (stand: august 2915)

This restaurant has changed management several times in recent years. it is only 5 minutes away from the jardin union, but unfortunately it is not on a road many people go on. the decorations are tasteful and the architecture is interesting. I went for my favorite roof, chiles en nogada. they were good, but I would have preferred more dried fruits and nuts and less meat in the filling. they also have an interesting selection of beers.

What are you looking for when you search for a restaurant? I don't care about the location, not particularly about the premises BUT... above all I care about flavour! And the pleasure started with the drinks. They offered me an artisan beer, of which they store three different types: I chose the red, just to discover that it had gain a bronze medal at a Mexico City competition! Really pleasant. Then the food we tried was really really tasty and flavoursome... Just a bit of cilantro sprouts (local coriander) on top....es the touch of the chef! And finally....this not a tourist place...which for us is a big plus... Highly recommended!!!
