Bidrage med feedbackThe staff there including the bar owner Richard is fake and realize your face they put on a front to get you to spend money and then once you spend your money they push you write out the door they act like they have your back and confrontations but they don't the moment that an issue acquires not bothering if it's your fault or the other person's they push you right out the door and then they banned you for no reason their drinks are awful the band sucks and the bar is steadily going under Richard the owner of Henry Clay's likes to bring people in call them family just so he could use them he used me for many many months knowing that I had a college degree in master's degree in music brought me in said that I was part of the family had me work there for free refused to pay me all because he knew that I knew my way around the stage proceeded to promise me a spot on the stage to perform knowing that I was trying to succeed as a musician but instead of honoring his promise he proceeded to use me for free labor do not recommend going to this bar it is definitely a one out of 10 for me can't wait to see Henry Clay's close their doors
If this place didn 't have free popcorn its reputation as Lex 's cool bar would vanish. Cramped space, insulting bathroom setup, usually overcrowded and loud.
I can't believe this place isn't busier. It's small and charming and the live music is awesome!
Love this place. There is a high table at the back... If you like writing... Sit back there, get a glass of wine... And then you will know what I am talking about : Great live music every time I have been there, for me, the best has been Fat Phil Band. Richard is the kindest host ever, and Jessica the best Barista :
I love the live music that plays on the stage and the folks behind the bar are literally the nicest people you’ll ever meet! I love how the owner will come out and help his staff when it gets a little busy as well. All around I find it a great place to hang out and have amazing drinks! Oh and don’t forget to ask for the free popcorn! The location right off of Main Street in downtown Lexington gives the bar a unique feel along with the historical ties to Henry Clay himself adds a whole different element to this Lexington landmark!
