Kabuki Japanese In Farm - gton Hills

Always excellent food here. My husband and I have gotten take out often and finally dined in. Servers were incredibly patient and kind. I tried something new, and was told how to eat it properly. Food was amazing as always.

The good: ambiance is solid, customer service was attentive. The took gae jang, a spicy Korean beef noodle soup. I've had this dish many times in CA, and this was solid here. The bad: ordered the teriyaki chicken appetizer and chicken bulgogi. The teriyaki was boiled, over boiled chicken breast at that. With some teriyaki sauce barely drizzled in top. It was completely bland and and texturally unappetizing. The bulgogi was similar. Maybe not boiled, but chicken breast that was overcrowded in a pan that was then overcooked a long time ago. It had flavor, but it complete rubber. If I had seen that a customer couldn't touch a dish by end of the meal, and didn't ask for a to go box , I would have removed it from the bill.
