The Greenbrier In Gatl - Gstlinburg, TN

The Greenbrier Restaurant is one of the best places to get a steak in Gatlinburg, Tennessee. There is a lot to say about this restaurant so I'll start with the atmosphere. It is so peaceful here on top of the mountain. There is an outside area with a firepit snd lounge chairs. Inside the restaurant it is so cozy and relaxing. We waited in a little area inside where you can view a book on different drinks that they offer here. The one is a must try. The Dylan. It is such a unique alcoholic drink and is prepared right in front of you at your table. The waiters here are very respectful and helpful. The food here is delicious! The steak was so tender and juicy. They really go all out to give you an amazing experience!

Excellent experience is all I can say!! The beef Wellington was cooked to perfection along with the duck and grits that my wife had.

I don't give 4 or 5 stars lightly. 3 stars is usually what my normal haunts get. But wow. Adam was a great server. Food was awesome. Didn't like the crab cake, but those tend to be dealers choice. My steak was perfect. Lobster tail was sous vide and was ugly, but phenomenal. It is expensive, but I'm my opinion worth the money if you are wanting an upper end meal. Also, the spoon cornbread...ugh, so good.

A very nice restaurant with fantastic food! We were glad to have a reservation as it was quite busy. Our server was amazing and very attentive. The salmon and halibut were our favorites.
