Hotel Christiania - Gstaad

Das Hotel liegt ausgezeichnet, direkt neben dem Center Court und Nahe beim Bahnhof. Das Zimmer war geräumig mit grossem Balkon und sehr sauber. Frühstück gute Auswahl.

Falafels were very good, place is good in the afternoon . We had only 40 minutes for our train and the food was given so fast that we could finish it right in time.preparation of tabouleh was excellent , hummus was little dry but olive oil on the side made it ok ,

Auch diesmal sind wir während des Tennisturniers im schattigen Garten gelandet und waren gespannt. Die Melone mit Rohschinken wurde prompt geliefert, war sehr fein und preislich angemessen. Am Nebentisch haben die Leute allerdings wie eh und jeh auf warme Speisen gewartet.

Hotel Christiania is part of the Gstaad tradition, I stayed there for two winters in 1970 and 1971. Located in the center of Gstaad, facing the skating ring/tennis court it is a very convenient place to stay. Everything is quaint, small and well appointed.The hotel restaurant provides the twist with a very good Arabic cuisine menu, plenty of mezzes and choices.

The lamb with noodles is delicious, I will be back again soon!! Also good value on the wine list, a nice selection from France and Italy.
