Bidrage med feedbackWe came here in 2014 and enjoyed it so that we know again in 2019 that it would be good. it wasn't disappointed. eating is typical Swiss and very good. service is also typical Swiss: good, cozy, attentive without hovering and polite. the atmosphere is...big, with scenic views everywhere you see. we were not particularly hungry, so we shared their sausage (a bratwurst with brown twill engraving and rostis) the meal was wonderful. it was very well prepared, presented in more appealing manner and tasted delicious. for dessert we divided a piece tarte au vin cuit, a local special paste from this special part of the Swiss. vin cuit is pear juice, which was greatly reduced to a consistency like very thick and smooth apples, but without pieces. they serve the torte with a generous part of the double cream, another speciality of this region. it is heavy cream that had removed even more moistness (some native think it is with a centrifuge but not sure) to make it super thick, so it tastes like cream, but is thick as Greek yogurt. for a small place that is out of the way, they have a quite wide and varied menu. If they have children with them, there are pens to admire. chickens, sheep, goats and pigs seem to be friendly and will come to a chew to welcome visitors. if the weather is pleasant, the outdoor terrace is a great place to relax with some delicious Swiss food while enjoying the magnificent rural Swiss landscape. bon appétit!
We hiked the hill from the parking lot (only a few minutes) to the piousry. we were late for the tour but stayed for wonderful fondue and other local tasty. while we were finished on the small terrace, a farmer brought her kite. on the hills to graze. it was a pretty scene and we have made a great video with all action and **** bells.
When they first go to gruyère, they are bombarded with the advertisement for the Gruyère cheese and the la maison du gruyère restairant. nothing against them. but the piousness d’alpage de moléson was the best restaurant I tried in the region. it is very cozy. it's high in the mountains. During the day they have a perfect view of the mountains, the hills, the small houses, the trees, the rocks. eating is carefully crafted. it is delicious and so is the local cheese. the service is great. make yourself a good one and visit this place!
