Ceboya - Gruissan

Didn't book a table but got there just in time they were turning people away later Food cooked fresh , cook came out to say hello to everyone The young lady serving was very good and helpful Hopefully will go back there again

The meal has exceeded expectations! The way the menu looks simple but in fact the dishes are really well prepared, with great effort and flavours. The staff makes a real effort here definetly worth visiting.

We had a extraordinary time in this restaurant.After a beautiful day at the beach we entered this lovely and cosy restaurant. We received on the warmest welcome we ever had.Some great wines we're advised to us.We ordered some food ( a little bit of everything) and it was absolutely delicious. The fish and and sea foods were extremelt fresh (my very sensituve stomach can attest of that). The sides were great. And it was perfectly seasonned.I will go back as soon as i get back to Gruissan.Thank You Céboya Team!

I am delighted to be the first to review Ceboya and give positive feedback. The restaurant is on the North side of the Plage de Chalets peninsula, and thus has a great view across the lake to the town of Gruissan. We were recommended the restaurant by our hotel and were told we would get a free aperitif if we mentioned this (we did!). Downstairs is a tapas bar which I can't comment on, we ate upstairs in the restaurant and enjoyed a mixed fish platter (solette, lisse and crevettes) with wine and coffee for about 20 Euros each. The ambience is relaxed and modern with some local paintings for sale. Would definitely recommend this place!

We were recommended this restaurant by our hotel and it didn't disappoint.We didn't have a booking and I think we turned up just in time. My father and I arrived at 8pm and were the second table to arrive and by 8:15 people were lining up to get in.The waitress was lovely, our French is hopeless and the waitress did her best in English for us to understand the menu.The waitress explained to us that they only served fresh fish that was caught that day, she even went to the extent of going to the kitchen and getting one of each fish and bringing them out and showing us so we could decide what we would like. The fish was cooked perfectly and the salads were fantastic too. She forgot our rice that we ordered, but I blame the language barrier and her not understanding us, so I think that's our fault.Very nice place with a beautiful sunset while we finished dinner. The girls had a great attitude and very friendly.After seeing the other options in town I don't think I would go anywhere else. If you stay near here this restaurant is a must.
