Bidrage med feedbackAt just its second year of activity, Porto Via has already established for itself a reputation as the place to be when you are in Marina and you want to eat genuine fish and/or pasta dishes without emptying your bank account. Run by real fishermen and mostly attended by locals (tourists have yet to discover it for the most part , the restaurant consists in a small kiosk in which food is prepared at the moment with fresh ingredients (you can see the kitchen staff working at your dishes in real time! . Customers can either take away their food or eat it on the spot on one of the wooden tables at their disposal. The ambience, in the center of the harbor neighborhood, is definitely cozy and peaceful. Their Tortelli con ragù di totani and Gnocchetti ai calamari con bottarga are personal favorites of mine, but feel free to experiment, since the menu allows for a good number of different combinations. I’ve been there both with family and friends, and alone. If you come in a large group you may want to check in advance for seats availability. Oh, I almost forgot. The name of the restaurant is a pun: in Italian, “porto” means both “harbor” and “take away”. As a conflict of interest disclosure, I conclude by saying that one of the managers is my uncle, but I’m not tied to him by any economic interest and the review was conducted in a spirit of independence.
In 3 days of our holiday we ate there 4 times. Always fresh take away, never too complicated, try fish of the day it is always a nice surprise. Very friendly service. Use the terrace of the bar across the street to eat Your delicious food, they will not mind, just order the drinks at the bar.
Molto gentili e frittura di paranza di prima categoria.
Non ci si capita per caso se non si sa che esiste perché è in una zona di Marina di Grosseto fuori dall'area del passeggio. E' un chiosco vicino al porto. Si porta via oppure si mangia sul posto. Ci sono due o tre tavoli con panche oppure si può mangiare nel bar di fronte che fornisce anche un più vasto assortimento di bevande. Fritto misto buono ed economico. Ovviamente in vaschette di carta con posate di plastica. Per un pasto informale ma gustoso.
La più buona frittura di pesce mai mangiata, il sugo degli spaghetti eccezionale.
