Bagno Nettuno - GROSSETO

We ate here every night out of habit because our 6 year old was able to play in their play area while we could keep an eye on her but enjoy some adult conversation. The clientele is mostly families and this makes for a great cheerful atmosphere that grows on you. The service is great and the owners take great care looking after everyone. Food is of solid quality and at reasonable prices. Very good for pizzas. The ability to walk on to the beach and watch the sun go down over the island of Elba is also a nice feature.

Very relaxed and easygoing style restaurant, we watched a spectacular sunset while we had the aperitif on the beach and then we had dinner a few meters away from the sea, the grilled fish was lovely.

I had lunch at Nettuno restaurant last Sunday while I was exploring the area with my husband and 2 kids. The owners and waiters were pretty nice but I had to wait for about 30 an hour to have someone to write donw my order, we waiter other half an hour for the 1st course and another 20-30 minutes for the main. Prices were decent but the quality of the food is average especially for the first course, we had spaghetti allo scoglio ...we also had 2 mains: fritto misto which was very good and spiedini which was ok but there was just one for €10 which is a way too much.. I would not reccomend this restaurant if you want to have a quick lunch as it took us almost 2 hours...
