Laireiteralm - Grossarl

The umbrella bar has great music and atmosphere, but open to the ban on smoking in 2023 is completely unacceptable

We stopped there after a long walk for a beer. The beer was good and the views were absolutely brilliant. Recommended!

The mountain self-service restaurant Laireiteralm, located on a hill, is located right next to the mountain station of the panoramic railway on the ski resort Grossarl Dorfgastein near approx. 1.850m and offers a great view of the many snow-covered mountains in the outdoor area with plenty of seating, two very well designed umbrella bars, cozy sun loungers and naturally good culinary ski dishes. The beautifully built restaurant of dark wood conveys the great Salzburger Ski-Fair and Skihütten-Ambiente, right above the entrance you will find a life model of a horse and a cow on the roof and welcome the guest. The many rustic interiors also provide a pleasant skifair in a wooden alpine look. The large self-service restaurant offers a good selection of local and international dishes for young and old skiers and of course a lot of fun in the huts, although the price-performance ratio is OK. We ordered especially Wiener Schnitzel or Sideburns with a lot of frits, whose quantity and quality were quite good and of course the obligatory ski water of the taste was very good. The service staff is very friendly and very helpful. The large, beautifully designed glazed conservatory with skins on the seats or the huge wooden terrace invite you to stay and relax in the sun. The view of the Grossarl mountains is really excellent They have a magnificent panoramic view of the valley, Grossarl and Huttschlag.
