Al Valico - Grone

First time we found this lovely restaurant was after my husband had been biking up the to the mountaintop from Grone. A couple of days later we drove up to the restaurant for lunch, and what a lunch. We shared the antipasti with typical dishes from the area it was excellent. Afterwards we had pasta, really large portions and tasty. Overall, this rates as highly as anywhere we have eaten for the food. The service is first class – attentive, friendly and with a high standard of professionalism. To top it off, the meal is exceptional value for money. They have also a great and extensive wine list. Now we have been there three times and are planning to return again in May.

Really good food and first choice foods. Super friendly and helpful guy. Fantastic the game, both for the first as the pappardelle with the boar ragù, and for the second, as for example the polenta taragna with the rabbit. Decent sweets and very big local.

I celebrated my degree at the restaurant and I have to say that they arranged all the details impeccablely.... I was very happy both for the preparation and for the quality and quantity of dishes.... wonderful appetizers and as dessert a meringue made by them very good Congratulations again for everything!! !

Surely a very cozy location..good the cutter and exceptional seconds of deer and wild boar with polenta. - A little black.
