Japanese Fusion Cafe Friends Dumpling Inn Manuka

I was initially frustrated with the Chinese noodles, but then I ordered the scallops and shrimp, which were truly amazing. The shrimp and scallops were both fresh and large. The xiao long bao was another highlight; it was incredibly juicy on the inside with a wonderfully thin skin. I will definitely be back!

Used to be amazing now some of the worst Korean and Japanese I’ve ever had. Maybe the owner or chef changed, very disappointing.

I would not recommend this restaurant due to poor customer service. First, we ordered on the phone for a pick up order, and on the phone the staff did not know what unagi is (and asked me to spell it? despite it being on the menu.He then said to come by in 25 minutes and it will be ready.We came by 25 minutes later and the staff had no idea about our order. Then after some confusion they must have found the order written down somewhere and started cooking it.One staff member was not wearing a mask at all, and the other was wearing the mask below his nose.When our order was ready, the staff did not acknowledge us and instead just presented the eftpos machine for us to pay.When we got home, some of the food was cold.
