Rita's Italian Ice Frozen Custard

I was very excited to discover a Rita in the Gretna Mall and made my friend an unexpected stop. Unfortunately, the service was bad and they were out of so many things. Soft serving machine was empty and only 3 flavors of ice left. That meant I couldn't get my fav gelati. There were three employees working, but all seemed fluent with how their lack of products explains. Had all helped in the line plan if they made a loud announcement that soft served was a 15 minutes waiting. Also cashier has counted our change of the screen for so long and she has to ask what we were owed. Hopefully the new shop matches?!?

Amazing Italian ice frozen Custard. The staff is great. You will get to taste the flavors if you are not sure the choice of the ur. You have to enjoy!

The Custard was delicious, but the service on 29. May 2021 was abysmal. The young boy who works didn't know how to make a cone, and he didn't seem interested in making any effort at all. A large and small cone was filled with about 1/6 of the ice that they should be. He filled them with a single train of ice, without turbulence, and he charged us $9. I would have disappointed my three years if I rejected them, so I paid my money and let it go. My friend got a mixed ice cream in a cup thinking that would be better, and that was 2/3 empty. Save $16 for nothing and go to McDonalds.

Great service, variety of gelato, frozen custard and Italian eis aromen!

This Rita shares a space with pieocracy which is why when we first walked by it, we did not know it was there. The signage wasn't very clear. The custard itself is 5 ?, but the service was more a 3-4 It's not an exceptionally comfortable place to sit. Imagine 80s food court. It's fine for a quick bite. I would go back again and hopefully their soft serve machine won't be broken. We had wanted vanilla but they could only do chocolate or swirl. The consistency is rich with an elasticity to it. It is located inside the gretna outlet mall
