Villa Borghese - Gréoux-les-Bains

Have only had 2 dinners here...part of a 6 night walking tour... but so far it has been 5 star all the way. Wonderful service , meals to drool over, and excellent wine choices . Can’t say enough.... you really have to try this restaurant if you ever visit Gréoux les Bains. A wonderful small village to explore as well...such fun. Enjoy!

As we didn’t stay at this hotel i can only review the restaurant .which we spent the full week eating there .Food was fabulous . Breakfast was standard continental .But had almost everything . Lunch and dinner were set menus but our request were always accommodated . the Best part were the desserts !!!!My favorite was castella de noix a hazelnut dessert that i have tasted anything like it in my life !!!!!!! Staff were over the top friendly especially the head waiter ....Super nice !! Highly recommend the restaurant for anyone visiting Gréoux-les-bains .

We stayed at the hotel for a whole week and ate here every evening. They have a menu of the day (3 cources, 2 choices per course), an a la carte menu and a 5 course menu that we could take for the price of a normal menu once per week. Great food, really high quality of products (fresh, quality and top level of cooking), quick service and the staff was always present for each question request we had.

This is probably one of the strangest restaurant experiences I've ever had, and in a bad way. We ordered the tasting menu, and it sounded delicious in the description in the menu, it was presented in a beautiful way but every single meal was awful. It was either unbalanced, over cooked or tasteless. Staff was correct and nice enough but didn't really care when I told them how I felt about the food. I would have sent it back, but didn't expect the kitchen could do better and was too tired and hungry to take a fight. It was so bad it would have been funny if it weren't so expensive, about 100€ for two persons. I've had better for 20€. Reading the other reviews, I can't believe we've been to the same place.

Un très bon restaurant, à la deco certes, un peu passé, mais qui propose des plats raffinés et très bons.Le personnel est très disponible...par contre, meme si personnellement cela ne m'a pas dérangé, attention de ne pas discuter comme sî les clients n'étaient pas la...il y a une bonne ambiance entre les serveurs, et c'est tant mieux, mais n'oubliez pas qu'on vous voit et qu'on vous entend...
