Bidrage med feedbackMy husband and his coworkers are obsessed with this place. So, after a morning of errands and craving a healthy lunch, I stopped in to pick us up some noms, and NOMS they were! SPACE: Located in a strip mall off Clinton St, the place is bright in color and easy to spot. Parking is rough, but spots can be found up front or in the surrounding parking lots. However, they fill up fast, so be warned! The interior features a variety of seating options with bare bones designs but one hell of a menu. SUSTENANCE: The menu offers a wide variety of options from signature salads to traditional to build your own, there is literally something for everyone! I opted for a small Los Cabos salad which was loaded with freshly grilled steak, over a bead of romaine lettuce, along with cheese, avocado, corn, cilantro and drizzled with southwest ranch dressing. YUM! My husband opted for something similar but with grilled chicken, which we also found delicious. Portions are HUGE despite how tiny the empty container looks on the counter when ordering. My small was massive and gave way to two meals, to which I happily enjoyed! SERVICE: We were greeted with smiles and hellos upon entry, which was super welcoming! We were given a rundown of the menu and within minutes of ordering, our meals were ready! I can't wait to venture back and try more of their delicious offerings!
Really like the variety and how the salads are prepared and served.
I have to same experience as the last review. I was one of the first customers when they originally opened. After the original owners sold I felt it started to go down hill. I had not been for a salad in some time and decided to go today. It was by far the most disgusting sight I have ever seen in a restaurant. Everything was filthy dirty and the looked as though it was falling apart. It’s very sad to see an owner take something that was great and turn it into this.
So sad to say, this place has gone down hill so much. I've been coming here for 15-20 years since Lee (I think was his name) and his wife first opened it. Never see them now. Service is bad, ingredients have gone down hill. The place is in desperate need of remodeling or even just a super clean. Weird smell in the lobby, ceiling tiles molded and falling out, floors and walls are gross. Bread sticks are always super stale now. Plenty more to say but I won't. Unfortunately there is a new salad place down the street that will get my business until these things are addressed. Sad because I'd rather my thousands of dollars go to this great family.
Haven’t been here in almost a year. Went in the other day, bought two salads, and they didn’t chop them up. Thought that was kinda weird, I loved going here back in the day, but I don’t think I’ll be back. Things have just changed, and not exactly for the better. ??
