Horrible service. I created a Yelp account just to caution others about this restaurant.

This restaurant is average. The service is friendly and the food is on par with other locations.

This is where I go for an affordable special night out. Birthdays / anniversaries or just a nice quiet meal.

Peppercress is a relaxed and pleasant venue that we go on a semi-regular basis. Sometimes just as a couple, sometimes as a group - if you pick your night it is quietish and you can actually talk to all the people on your table - and sometimes for special events. The food is always good quality and with reasonable variety. The special events are great productions, with information interspersed with lovely themed food and a very lively atmosphere. The service has always been friendly and efficient, and some of the staff are stand out wonderful.

The service, decor and food is outstanding. My Moroccan lamb was tender and meltingly superb. Excellent wines by the glass.The restaurant has carpet on the floor, good background music and the tables are far enough apart that conversations don't intrude. A must visit when down that way (and a member of the Club).
