Bidrage med feedbackThis is a business establishment. My only complaint is that some items are quite pricey, especially since products like Amy's soup and Amy's mac and cheese can easily be found at Walmart for a lower cost. If you have the Walmart app, it might be a good idea to check there first to see if they have a better deal. This review was updated on December 12, 2021.
I absolutely love shopping here! It's not just a fantastic place to browse, but also a wonderful spot to enjoy a sit-down meal. The best part is that you don't have to worry about reading labels like you do in other grocery stores. In the past, I used to steer clear of high fructose corn syrup mixed with unhealthy ingredients. Now that I'm vegan, it's so easy to find products here, and I can trust that they don’t contain any unnecessary additives.
If you're a vegan in Greenville and find yourself cooking at home every night, you're probably frequenting Whole Foods for supplies. Like in most places in Greenville, it's important to inquire about every ingredient in the dishes. The selection of prepared foods is limited and doesn't change often. The hot bar tends to be hit or miss, but you make the best of what they offer. The chicken-fried tofu is a standout dish. This is an update from my previous review on August 18, 2016.
You really have to watch the food here. So many dishes with sugar and canola oil (not a natural oil). There are many vegan and vegetarian items to choose, and it can be expensive. They also usually use rapeseed oil in their bakery. Woodruff Road is a very busy road all the time, so you need to plan when you go there.
All food on the bars is prepared on site. Can be costly, and watch for gluten and sugar/salt content! If one is careful, they can eat a very satisfying, delicious meal here. There are many non-veg choices as wel1, s/a pizza and burgers for your friends!
