Villa Verde - Greenville

Authentic Dominican cuisine! We tried ropa vieja, Churrascos, sancocho and the appetizer with fried pork.

I honestly think this was not a good day for my friends. I was really excited to go to this place but it was meh. I didn’t even take pictures of our food because I was really disappointed, at least 3 friends told me to go here because “it was really good”. We had a piña colada: it was very watery. We had empanadas: they were good but I asked for other type of salsa and they said they only had the mayo ketchup. We had the papi sandwich: nothing to say about, bread, steak and cheese. And last but not least, the mofongo: my stomach still hurts because all the garlic and salt. I think I’ll give them another opportunity someday, I still recommend it because of the environment ?

Absolutely the blandest Food I’ve ever had. My dogs wouldn’t even eat the beans and rice. Literally they wouldn’t touch it.?Don’t worry Jay, wouldn’t step back into your business if it was the last restaurant in Greenville. Horrible food and a childish owner.

Wonderful restaurant, excelente food and service. Jay is the best.
