Tolly's Gastropub - Greenville

I have to say I didn't expect much more than the typical diner fare, but I was pleasantly surprised! The massive burgers and crispy boneless chicken wings (which were more like chicken tenders due to their size) were fantastic. The staff here are also incredibly friendly, making the experience even better. If you're in the mood for a 2-pound Applewood pork chop, look no further! Despite its size, it was cooked to perfection. Paired with excellently seasoned fries, it made for an overall 5/5 experience. I will definitely return, if only for those amazing wings!

First experience was a good one. I ate late at 22:30. The restaurant was not very crowded and I sat at the bar and immediately waited the friendly bar tender. They also had most appetizers 50% for Happy Hour. I ordered the Italian salad and it was very good and huge. The menu is large and they have plenty of daily specialties. I'll try again.

The smoked pork is impressive, almost holiday ham-sized, and packed with flavor. The sandwiches are delicious—like a hearty serving of football! And then there’s the onion soup. Wow! It’s the best I’ve ever had, even after trying it at countless coastal farms. It’s so good that I can hardly express it. The meatballs could easily be described as a treasure trove of juicy goodness. Seriously, what’s not to love here? Just be prepared to wait for a table during peak dining hours, as the place is too small to accommodate the crowds of locals and city visitors who come from over an hour away! But trust me, it’s worth the journey, and even Eeyore would leave happy after visiting. Come ready to indulge because this place sets the standard for what a true American diner should be in terms of food and value.

What can I say? A lot! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the fantastic staff. The place was quite busy, and we did have to wait, but it was definitely worth it. Our waitress, Kelly, was absolutely fantastic! The menu offered a wonderful selection. I ordered the Irish meatballs, and they were amazing! It may be a bit of a drive, but we will definitely be returning!

Very busy,. We stopped while traveling through. Service was excellent. Large menu, I had steak and mushroom sub. My wife had the pastrami/ corn beef sub. She really liked it. The flavor of my sub was great. The steak was tough and the sub was so soggy I had to use fork and knife. Biggest complaint from me was the way too huge servings. We 'll probably stop again next time we 're in town but be more aware of what we order.
