Joy Of Tokyo - Greenville

Sad to see what this place has sank too since the pandemic it's not even worth the money you pay try Atami,Osaka or Fuji if you enjoy this style of food the sushi roll had half a cucumber shoved in it and threw the whole flavor off, the portions are ridiculously small compared to other Joy of Tokyo Locations the cheapest ingredient of all..... rice, they skimp on. I feel the quality to service you receive can be met much better else where the highchair's were sticky and the bathroom's were dirty the food tasted like other location's but half the amount I would have driven 10 minutes more to not be hungry after I just spent $80 and the only compensation I was offered was to remake 1 of the 5 plates I bought the review used to be 4.3 when I found Joy of tokyo I now understand why it has a 3.7 star............. learn from our mistake and drive a little further! Side note veggies are now pre-made and not on the grill and are put in first to make it look like you get more meat this was the best looking plate if you could imagine ........

EDIT!! New portions are half of what they used to be. It's very sad because the quality was okay but Cherrydale location gives double the food with better quality now. Manager even admitted other location will give more food because it's a franchise and each one is a different set of families that run it! I had 9 pieces of chicken on my plate, 2 pieces of broccoli and 2 tiny mounds of rice that barely covered the bottom of the togo box more onions than anything else.Old review:Always great food!!!! Big portions and high quality for under 10$ eat here pretty regularly and I've never been disappointed one in cherrydale is just about as good

Hours are always wrong they never update online so you never know if they're opened or not. Their food is good unlike the east north street one just never openFood: 5/5

My absolute favorite place to get lunch. The customer service is amazing and the man working is well mannered and even memorized my name order. The quality of their food at this location is the best in my opinion.Food: 5/5

Asked for a crab roll, 75% rice 25% crab, service attendant was nice, but food was not worth price.
