Jamaican Twist - Greenville

I had a fantastic experience! The ambiance was warm and welcoming, and the staff was extremely friendly. The chicken dish served with rice was full of delightful flavors, and the beef patties were simply magnificent. I’ll definitely be coming back for more!

The atmosphere was fantastic, really transporting us back to Jamaica with the green and yellow walls. The service was outstanding. However, since this place is quite popular, they had run out of a lot of dishes, which is usually a good sign! I ordered the jerk chicken, and while it was cooked well, I found the flavor lacking. The jerk sauce reminded me more of BBQ sauce than traditional jerk sauce, which was a bit disappointing. On the bright side, the sides were delicious!

I stopped here for lunch and had the chicken curry with rice and peas. It was consistently excellent! The service was quick, and the atmosphere was enjoyable. The coco bread was incredibly soft.

Absolutely loved this place! My husband had the chicken pasta and I had the ox tails! Everything was seasoned perfectly and the service was great! Will definitely be a regular here!

I do wish the interior were updated, as I often prefer to take my lunch to go because I'm not a fan of the decor. I believe this restaurant deserves a renovation; it's a staple in the neighborhood and would benefit from a fresh look and more seating options. If that happens, I'd definitely be dining here at least once a week! Nevertheless, the food is amazing, the staff is friendly, and you get a generous portion for a reasonable price. I would give it a 10 if I could!
