Compadres Mex Mex Grill - Greenville

Honestly one star is a bit much. This place is absolutely horrible! The environment was filthy and there were bugs everywhere, but I was hopeful because I was starving. So I ordered fajita nachos and they were wrong at first, then when I told them it was wrong the waitress yelled at me and told me I was wrong because if she wrote it down then that is what I ordered. Not only was the environment disgusting, the staff were just as horrifying. I would never recommend this place to anyone.

The food here is amazing. The steak is so tender you can cut it with a fork. The place is clean and has a great atmosphere. It doesn't hurt that they have $3 tequila (and the house brand actually tastes good)

With so many Mexican restaurants to choose from, this restaurant was okay. My husband's burrito was lukewarm and my carnitas dinner wasn't very flavorful. It might have been just an off day We wish them well and hope they become successful.

I cannot fathom why this place has 2.5 stars while Nazarios has a solid 4. This is a solid Mex mex restaurant. An easy litmus test for me when it comes to a Mexican restaurant is the beans and rice. This place has some of the best compared to other places I've tried around town. Just saying for what you should expect, it's good.

Update 02-11-22, lunch-Salsa has to be the best around!Better than I remember. Lunch was fast, good, and had great service! Salsa was awesome.
