First Watch - Greensboro

My wife and came in for brunch. I had a seasonal dish, Barbacoa Quesadilla Benedict, and my wife had the BLT Benedict. We were seated and greeted promptly with an urn of coffee. Elijah was our server, and he was very polite and like-able. We didn't wait long for our food. When it came out, I regretted ordering fresh fruit in place of the black beans instead of the potatoes. I asked Elijah if I could have a side of potatoes after all, and he brought them out within two minutes. Everything was delicious, and my wife and both scraped our plates to get as much of the sauce as we could. I would have loved more meat in the dish, but that's pretty much the case wherever I eat. Love me some animal protein! The check was brought quickly, and we were paid and out the door efficiently.

Arrived at 8:40am, got seated right away. Sat for about 20min, our server NEVER came to our table we saw how other tables that arrived after us were served upon arrival. Ended up leaving, service has definitely gotten worse.

My wife’s favorite place for breakfast! Love that they leave coffee pots on the table, the food is fresh tasty!

Allowed my order to be stolen by some bum. Either keep the orders in the back or have someone monitor the pickup area. Canceled the order, no returned payment receipt. I have to wait 5-7 business days to get my money back. To be fair, the gentleman who handled the cancelled order, offered to make me a new order, but I was already annoyed by the situation. Respect to him.

Honestly dude I gave this place another shot after 2 years and it just..ain’t it. How are Bob’s cheesy grits just unsalted grits with shredded cheddar cheese on top? I’d like to talk to Bob. That kind of cheese doesn’t even melt well it just gets chewy and gloopy and oily and sits on top?? My pancake didn’t come with syrup just butter? And my fried eggs don’t even have salt and pepper on them? Im not asking for anything crazy but y’all don’t salt and pepper..your eggs? The chicken sausage patty is unseasoned and chewy?? It’s giving white people cafeteria food. For the cost it’s frustrating and I feel like I would have to season everything myself just to semi-enjoy it. I’m not even going to pretend the issue is that I got it delivered instead of going into the restaurant because the issue lies in just uninformed cooking
