This new pizzeria is ran by kids and half them don't have clue what there doing or how to use a point of sale system. Also to they went through weeks of renovation and all they did was paint over the classic Italian art which was painted by hand and was not warn down. A beautiful place ruined by a young entrepreneur. I guess Broadway pizza is only good place in town now.
Great pizzeria! Their specialty pizzas are quite tasty. However, I did find the crust a bit drier compared to other places. Some friends mentioned that the prices on the online menu were lower than what they charged when we got there. I'm not sure if that's been fixed or not. Overall, it’s a nice place, but it may not be my first choice.
Sardos is really great. Spinelli?s was my favorite pizza in the city, so I was really worried when she retired, but Sardos did a wonderful job to pay tribute to her type of cake while adding a ton of her own flair to the menu. The owner is super friendly and always seems happy to welcome his customers. Her salads are great, her regular Neapolitan cakes are wonderful and I also liked her eggplants ricotta cake. We?
The staff were very friendly, but unfortunately, the food did not meet our expectations. On my third visit, I ordered the chicken Francese twice, and the last time, it seemed like the chicken hadn't been cooked properly. The bread was still an eggy color, and I suspect that some pieces were even raw. To make matters worse, neither of my orders came with the Francese sauce. My son's favorite dish is also chicken Francese, but he ended up asking for something else because there was no sauce and the chicken was unappealing. My wife and sister-in-law ordered ravioli, which was quite bland. Oddly enough, a chicken salad was priced higher than a dish I found lacking in quality. We won’t be returning.
I had a terrible experience at this restaurant, and the food was equally disappointing. We waited 45 minutes for our meals, only to find out they had run out of penne and spaghetti, which is surprising given the grocery store right next door. The spaghetti we received was falling apart, raising questions about the kitchen's standards. The food was so bland that I wondered if I should take a COVID test to see if I'd lost my taste. To top it off, the pizza was burnt and served cold. It felt like our dishes were prepared in advance and left to sit instead of being made fresh. I've never encountered a dining experience like this before, and I certainly won't be returning.
