Bidrage med feedbackAbsolutely disgusting restrooms. I travel the tri-state area for work and typically will go out of my way to get to a Sheetz in lieu of any other gas station/store. However, the Greencastle, PA Antrim Commons location is disgusting. The men’s room floor is covered in trash and ****. The urinals are stained and the odor of **** slaps you in the face before you even enter the room. Only one sink works and one soap dispenser is empty. One store is deplorable condition such as this one can drag down the reputation of the entire chain.
My only complaint is the (Flex) employee Abby, she gossips, bullies, and is mean to other employees, and makes fun of some customers who come in there. Seen it with my own eyes. She's notorious at the Waynesboro location.
Pretty normal Sheetz. Not filthy, not clean. Trash cans at the pumps were overflowing, but there wasn't trash in the parking lot. Bathrooms were fairly clean, but not shining. It was busy, so maybe they were having trouble keeping up. Employees were kind enough. It's just off the interstate; big parking lot at a light, fairly easy to turn into. They have a drive-through for made-to-order food like sandwiches if for any reason you don't want to get out of the car. Well-stocked and good signage. Plenty good enough.
This location feels more like a truck stop compared to other places. You first get that impression when you spot the diesel island on the side of the building. It becomes more apparent when you see how spacious the lot is, accommodating larger vehicles. Plus, its close proximity to various distribution centers just up the road reinforces this feeling. The location is excellent, conveniently situated right off I-81, which is the main thoroughfare in the area. Because it operates like a truck stop, it is quite large both inside and out. I appreciate that vibe; it creates a sense of spaciousness with high ceilings, expansive floor space, and bright lighting, which all contribute to a welcoming atmosphere. It’s an ideal stop during your travels, offering food, restrooms, fuel for your vehicle, and more. If I take this route on any of my upcoming trips home, I’ll definitely stop here again.
Sheetz review: I have to give extra credit for their fantastic variety of these trendy Americana ketchup packets that my 11-year-old is determined to collect, which definitely makes my car seats nervous about the possibility of accidentally sitting on a misplaced packet during our long drive! The music playing in the background was oddly forgettable. This is the perfect stop for anyone heading across Route 11 into the heart of Pennsylvania, so you can expect it to be crowded. But hey, did astronauts ever complain about waiting for their spacecraft to launch? Not at all!
