Bidrage med feedbackThe myway burger was decent, it was way too small and I got the double, and you have to pay for a little cup of sauce which is needed. Fries were crispy, better than the burger but I must have been really hungry.
I really wanted to like this place. I tried their Chicago hotdog and half-smoke. The Chicago hotdog, by definition, needs a beef frankfurter. The sausage used here was kind of a dry crumbly type, which really did not go well with the toppings. Also, at $10, it is way overpriced for what you get. The half smoke was fine, but a bit on the small side, considering the price. Most disappointing were the bacon fries. The menu shows these loaded with bacon and toppings. What I got was a pie tin filled with a brick of fries held together by solid cheese and topped with a sprinkle of bacon bits.I think if the kitchen worked a bit on the details, and if the prices were brought down to match the relatively small portions served, then this place could get more customers.
Our family ordered carryout from the burger shop for dinner tonight. It was the worst burger I 've ever had. We should have stuck with our first thought and ordered from McDonalds. The burger on the patty melt was burnt crisp on the ends and dry with the no visible cheese, which must have melted off on the grill , and bread was not toasted as described on the menu. I threw it out because it was inedible . The onion rings were droopy and greasy, half the order of fried pickles, were lumps of fried breading. The burgers were ok, but dry. The french fries were ok, but not great. We blew $60 including tip on a big disappointment. Either the cook is in training which means some serious managerial oversight is needed, or basic cooking lessons are needed. I really find it hard to believe that anyone would let the food leave the restaurant.
Went into the restaurant and it's like 4 restaurants in one talked to the chef but it was so much going on that nothing stood out on the menu, even after the chef did his spill. The only thing I would say was good was the women bar tenders who where practicing and let us sample drinks. We sent out food bank and went to another local well know place for a spicy crispy juicy chicken sandwich and fresh cut fries. No pics because we sent our food back so fast
I can enjoy a hot dog, but I'm easily disappointed. Not this time. I miss Chicago Style hot dogs from when I lived in Illinois. So, I'm looking at the MyWay menu and I see they have one. That's special, cause this is Maryland. It's a little pricy, but I decide to gamble. And this might be the best hot dog I've ever had. This isn't a freezer-burned weiner from a stand on the National Mall. It's not a gourmet sausage stuffed with pineapple and herbs or whatever. It's a 100% Angus beef and natural casing hot dog with all the Chicago toppings. And I'm still thinking about it 2 weeks later. Five stars for the Chicago Dog at MyWay!
