La Casa Del Huarache - Green Meadows

I've been to this restaurant several times for breakfast, and the Huaraches are truly fantastic and authentic. There were a couple of instances when the service could have been better, but the staff was always friendly. Overall, the excellent food quality brings me back, even with those minor service hiccups.

La Casa del Huarache is my go-to place for when I'm working from home and in the mood for some tasty food delivered through DoorDash or Grubhub. Today, I tried the La Yucateca Torta, a pork torta marinated in achiote and topped with pickled red onions, lettuce, tomato, mayo, and jalapeños. It was absolutely delicious and quite filling! I will definitely be ordering this again. I highly recommend giving this place a try; the food is fantastic and reasonably priced (they also offer great breakfast options)!

This restaurant serves exceptional, authentic Mexican food that comes out hot and incredibly delicious! You have to try their enormous pollo burrito—it's a highlight! They also offer delicious green and red salsa that pairs perfectly with their fresh tortilla chips. This true Mexican establishment has been a favorite in South O for as long as I can remember, and there's a great reason for its popularity!

I usually avoid seafood, but I decided to try the shrimp ceviche tostada. Unfortunately, it tasted spoiled, and I ended up feeling quite ill afterward. I don’t think I’ll be returning to this restaurant.

The food we had today was disappointing. I went for lunch with my dad and older brother. My dad ordered the Birria Huarache, but the birria was cold, lacked flavor, and was dry, as if it had been sitting out for days. My dad and I both ordered tacos de Tinga, which were also very cold, only warmed by the tortillas. My brother had a carne asada taco, and the meat was clumped together, as if it had just been microwaved, and of course, it was cold and tasteless. My brother and I also tried the Tacos de chicharron, which were passable. What happened to this restaurant? We all agreed we won’t be returning. And by the way, the limes they served us had dark spots on the skin. It’s really not acceptable to serve spoiled limes.
