Cilantros Mexican - Green Meadows

Terrible food tonight. Grease was old , the chips and taco's greasy and fishy tasting.. Couldn't finish our meal. Salsa watered down, flavorless. I can see why they are dead... no business.

TLDR: Poor service provided. Waitress felt she earned an additional $10 tip to ensure we never return.Went to celebrate Cinco de Mayo as we always do. We got seated right away and then seemed to be forgotten as we waited 10-15 min for anyone to even ask for drinks. I found the hostess and requested she send someone over as we had been waiting. A waitress named Maritza presented herself and took our drink order. Menus were already set on the edge of the table as we had plenty of time previously to decide. Once the drinks arrived, she tried to dart away and I had to tell her we were ready to order. Food started to arrive and a few of the plates were incorrect and for the table next to ours. We were able to get the correct food in place. The food was decent as it usually is when we go. Maritza did not stop back by until we were obviously done with our meal. No refills were offered and no further check on if everything was good. I tipped 10% instead of 20% because the service was very poor.I had a bad feeling about the experience and decided to hold on to the receipt as a precaution. This was towards the end of the week, so I knew I would have to wait for the bill and tip to process and wouldn't show up until Monday. When Monday rolled around, I checked my credit card bill and Maritza had graciously added another $10 to her tip. I contacted the management who stated they could refund the $10 if i provided my card number which I was not going to do over the phone. Manager recommended coming down to the restaurant which I was able to do. Manager insisted that it must have been a mistake and refunded $10 after validating the charges. I was kind of expecting either a further discount or small gift card to apologize and try to convince us to come back but was not going to directly ask. Manager was still insistent that it was an accident and I notified that I would not be returning because of this incident.

Food was nasty. Chips were stale, which they obviously used for the Fajita Nachos as well. We didn’t eat the chips or Fajita Nachos. The Manager had the audacity to say “We taste the ‘cheeps’ and they’re fine”. But DID YOU TASTE THE SAME BATCH!?! The waitress had a stank attitude. We even got dirty looks when we walked in. I’ll never go back to that location.

The food is awesome! Reminds me of the mexican food in Texas! Awesome customer service coming from Marisa. Would recommend eating here.

Best fajita in the entire metro. The enchiladas de suiza are killer. We love the extra edition of the masa in the plate. So good!
